St. Mary’s junior who played in the Second Division for St. Mary’s before making his first grade debut at Parramatta in 1976.
He would return to his home district at Penrith, where he made his first, but solitary first grade appearance as a a replacement in the Round 10 match versus Newtown at Henson Park, which the Panthers won 21-5. In 1979, he made nine appearances across the season, mostly starting in the second row. This would be his final season in the first grade, although he would stay on at the club and player lower grades.
