Big and rangy winger who made his first grade debut at Western Suburbs in 1971. After six seasons, he went to Penrith for the 1978 season.
He made his club debut for the Panthers in the Round 2 match versus Manly at Brookvale Oval. In total, he made 17 appearances, all on the wing.
He returned in Round 4 of the 1979 season versus Manly on the wing.
Whilst contracted for the 1980 season, he was unable to play for the club and fulfilled his obligations for the season.
In 2018, his great-nephew Jack Hetherington made his NRL debut with the Panthers.
