The Titans posted the first try to lead 4-0.
In the 13th minute, Trent Waterhouse charged down a kick, picked up a kind bounce and found Michael Jennings in support and the counter attack finished with a try and lock it up at 4 apiece.
After 23 minutes, a well weighted and angled grubber from Luke Walsh found an unmarked Kevin Kingston who scrambled over adjacent to the left upright, with Walsh’s conversion making it 10-4, and remained that way until half time.
Soon after the resumption, a converted try to the home team tied it up at 10-all.
Penrith pushed ahead again in the 53rd minute when Petero Civoniceva broke the line, and found Lachlan Coote in support who then drew in the defending fullback and found Adrian Purtell in support to score under the black dot.
Up by 6, the Panthers inched further ahead with just under 10 minutes remaining with a Walsh field goal, and in the last minute, a cross field bomb from Walsh was spilt by the Titans on the tryline, and Travis Burns picked up the loose ball and dived over the line to further extend their winning margin.
