Minchinbury junior who was a part of the 2015 premiership winning Under 20s squad before moving up to the NSW Cup squad in 2016.
He made his NRL debut in Round 19 2017 against the Warriors in Auckland, starting at five-eighth and scoring a try. May would go on to make 9 appearances, including both finals matches and crossing for five tries.
A knee injury suffered in Penrith’s semi-final loss delayed his return in 2018, and made his return in July, playing another nine matches, alternating between starting five-eighth and bench utility.
Post-match, he made a social media post which in part made reference to the previous criminal act, and in November his contract was terminated on the basis of a serious breach of his contractual obligations. He soon after signed with the Catalan Dragons in the Super League, and is currently contracted to the end of the 2023 season.
