Hard working forward who debuted in 1988 and by 1990 was a regular starting player, chiefly in the second row, and was a member of the Panthers victorious grand final winning team in 1991.
Walker continued to provide good service to Penrith into the mid-1990s, shifting to the front row in 1993. He would make his 100th appearance for the Panthers towards the end of the 1994 season.
A succession of injuries would result in his premature retirement at the end of 1996.
