The Panthers led 6-0 inside the first 8 minutes with a converted try to Taylan May.
Penrith further extended the lead in the 15th minute with a long range effort that started with Izack Tago taking a pass 30 metres out, and breaking the line. Stepping back inside to the middle and then throwing the dummy to make more metres, he flicked a pass to Dylan Edwards in support 10 metres out and touched down adjacent to the left upright.
A penalty conversion pushed it further out to 16-0 with just over 16 minutes remaining in the half.
Whilst the Bulldogs posted their first points through a converted try to make it 14-6, the Panthers would hold a 20-6 lead at half time courtesy of a Liam Martin try with less than three minutes left, running a straight line through a gap off an Isaah Yeo pass.
Four minutes after the resumption, Spencer Leniu barged his way over from close range, with Nathan Cleary’s conversion making it 26-6.
The home team scored next to make it 26-12, however, the Panthers would have the final say when Mitch Kenny crashed over and Cleary’s extras making it 32-12.
