Newcastle junior who played lower grades at both the Knights and at the Raiders before being recruited by Brisbane for the 2016 season. Making his NRL debut that year, he emerged as one of the most destructive, if not inconsistent, forwards in the competition. Also an international, he has represented his native Tonga in six Tests to date.
Signing a three-year deal with Canterbury starting in 2022, he was released by the Broncos in July 2021 and subsequently signed a short team deal for the remainder of the season with the Panthers. He made his club debut in the Round 21 match versus the Sydney Roosters. Primarily used as a replacement forward, he crossed for two tries in consecutive matches later in the season and started in the front row in the preliminary final versus Melbourne. It was in that match he sustained a knee injury and was ruled out of the grand final, hence bringing the brief cameo at the Panthers.
