Sunday 27th August at Parramatta Stadium

Penrith 18 – Tries: Freeman (2), Farrar (1); Goals: Pethybridge (3) | Parramatta 12

Gary Freeman scored the opening try after 19 minutes, which was converted by Scott Pethybridge to give the visitors a 6-0 lead.

Whilst an Eels penalty conversion soon after made it 6-2, two Penrith tries in the last 10 minutes of the half – the first to Danny Farrar and then a double to Freeman, which were bot converted by Pethybridge – saw the Panthers make it 18-2 at the break.

Penrith were not able to cross the line in the second half, but restricted the Eels to just two tries to hold on for a six point win, and record a victory to close out the 1995 premiership season.
