Lower grade player at Balmain who arrived at the Panthers in 1968.
After two seasons in the lower grades, he earned his first grade debut for Penrith in the opening round of the 1970 season, and made a total of eight appearances throughout the season, primarily in the first half of the season.
It would be his only season at Penrith though, and joined North Sydney in 1971 and later played out his first grade career at Western Suburbs.
