In the tenth minute, Rhys Wesser completed a spectacular 70 metre solo try which started with fielding a long range kick and running towards the left edge, breaking the line on the halfway mark and continued to evade the Cronulla cover defence to dive over in the left corner.

With five minutes remaining in the half, a Craig Gower kick to the left wing was aimed deep into the in goal, with an unmarked Luke Rooney catching and grounding the ball just inside the dead ball line. Ryan Girdler’s second conversion made it 12-0 at half time.

This lead was further extended to 14-0 with a penalty conversion early in the second half.

With 12 minutes remaining, Campbell iced the contest when he showed his lightning footwork at close range to evade a number of Sharks defenders to touch down adjacent to the right uprights, and completing a dominant 20-0 victory on the road.
