St. Mary’s junior who made his first grade debut as a replacement in Round 17 of the 1977 season versus Balmain at Leichhardt Oval, and came on as a replacement again in the following round versus Parramatta.
In 1978, he started the season in reserve grade, but made his run on debut, in the front row, in the Round 11 draw versus Canterbury. He was then selected in the front row for the remaining 10 premiership matches of that season.
He made two more appearances in the front row over Rounds 4 and 5 in 1979, which were his final matches in first grade.
