Western Suburbs junior – and son of rugby league Hall of Fame inductee Vic – who debuted at the Magpies in 1975. After six seasons at both Western Suburbs as well as Parramatta, he arrived at the Panthers for the 1981 season.

He made his club debut for Penrith in Round 2 versus Eastern Suburbs, starting in the centres and scoring a try in their loss to the Roosters. He would in total make 11 appearances up until Round 13, primarily as a centre but also in the halves (at five-eighth) as well as the forwards (at lock).
