Front row forward who had debuted at Eastern Suburbs in 1962, and after five seasons signed with newcomers Penrith for the 1967 season.
He was selected at front row in Penrith’s first ever premiership match versus Canterbury at Belmore Oval. In total, he would make 16 appearances in the 1967 season, and scoring one try.
In 1968, he left Penrith and signed with Western Suburbs in the Newcastle competition.
