Forward who debuted with Eastern Suburbs in 1958 and later played at Parramatta.

In 1964, he was signed on by then second division team Penrith and appointed as captain/coach, and led the club to their State Cup win over Canterbury in 1965.

Upon Penrith’s promotion to the Sydney premiership, he was retained by Penrith and was named in Penrith’s first ever premiership match versus Canterbury, starting in the second row. He would play in all 22 matches in the Panthers debut season, before retiring at the end of the season.
