Minchinbury and St. Mary’s junior who played lower grades at the Panthers and by 2005 was a regular starter for St. Mary’s-Penrith in the Premier League.
Elevated to the NRL squad in 2007, he made his NRL debut as a bench forward against the Broncos at CUA Stadium, however he would be dropped back to the Premier League the following week.
In 2008, he remained in the system, being a contracted player to Penrith but not NRL contracted, playing the season for the Windsor Wolves in the NSW Cup.
