Cambridge Park junior who made his NRL debut for the Panthers late in the 2002 season as the starting fullback against Melbourne in Olympic Park.

In 2003 he was a member of the NRL squad however would once again make just the one appearance, once again as the starting fullback in their golden point victory over North Queensland. He would spend the majority of the season playing for the St. Marys-Penrith Cougars which included a grand final appearance.

It was the lack of opportunities in the top grade that saw him sign with Melbourne in 2004 and soon established himself as a backline star for the Storm, representing New South Wales in 2008. In 2010 he returned to Sydney, signing with Canterbury. He would retire at the end of the 2013 season after 161 NRL appearances (including the 2 at Penrith) and post-retirement has become involved in the rugby league media.
