Blacktown Workers junior who played for the Panthers in the Jersey Flegg competition in 1972 and was graded at Penrith for the 1973 season.

He started the season in reserve grade, but would soon after make his first grade debut, starting at fullback in Round 4, and scored a try in the 31-8 win over Balmain at Penrith Park. In total he made 12 first grade appearances in 1973, all at fullback and had been seen as a bright prospect for the Panthers.

In 1974, he started the season in first grade, playing the first 13 matches mostly on the wing before suffering an injury and then later returning through the lower grades.

He started the 1975 season in the third tier Under 23s competition, and returned to first grade in Round 3, making six appearances up to Round 9, with his appearance versus Newtown being his last in first grade. e made a further 13 appearances, all on the wing and would make 6 more appearances in 1975, which would his final season in first grade.
