Oberon junior who made his first-grade debut midway through the 1976 season. In five matches, he scored three tries.
After just the solitary appearance in 1977, he made 8 appearances in 1978. He would finish that season as the captain of Penrith’s first ever premiership winning team, leading the Under 23’s to success.
After two more seasons that yielded a total of 18 appearances, he left the Panthers and joined Newtown. After two seasons at the Jets he moved to Canberra, where he played two seasons before retiring.
He would return to the Panthers in the 1990s as a trainer whilst former team mate Phil Gould was coach.
In 2020, he passed away aged 65 after a five year battle with multiple system atrophy.
