St. Mary’s junior who made his first-grade debut in the final round of the 1984 season against Parramatta at Penrith Park, coming on as a replacement.
After 15 matches in 1985, primarily as a starting second rower and including their historic first semi final appearance against Parramatta at the Sydney Cricket Ground, he would make just 11 first-grade appearances across the next seasons.
He left Penrith at the end of the 1987 season and joining Canterbury. After three seasons at the Bulldogs including a premiership win in 1988, he returned to Penrith in 1991, making four more appearances for the Panthers. He would not play a part in their premiership success but would make one last appearance for Penrith in their World Club Championship loss to Wigan at the end of the season.
