The Panthers won 11 of their first 15 matches and although there were some stutters in the second half of the season, they finished the regular season with three consecutive victories to finish second only to St. George Illawarra at the end of the premiership rounds.

As well as recording the best attack for the 2010 premiership season, a number of club records were set during the season, including a new home ground record for attendance (22,582 v Parramatta in July), as well Michael Gordon breaking two point scoring records – most points in a match with 30 versus South Sydney (3 tries and 9 goals) and most points in a season with 270 (also the leading point scorer for the NRL).

The top 2 finish saw the Panthers return to the finals for the first time since 2004, however, it would end with two consecutive losses to Canberra in the qualifying final and then the Sydney Roosters in the semi final.

In the lower grades, the Windsor Wolves made the NSW Cup grand final but would finish runners up to the Bulldogs, whilst the Under 20s finished second last only above Parramatta.
