Slightly built lock forward who was recruited from Armidale and made is first grad debut for the Panthers in 1969.
He quickly developed into one of the club’s best young prospects and gained a reputation as a great defender with a high work rate.
Kleindienst would be a regular member of the Panthers forward pack in the early 1970s and would leave the Panthers at the end of 1972. He would head north to Queensland and make 2 appearances for them in the 1973 interstate series.
