Papua New Guinea born hooker who made his NRL debut for the North Queensland Cowboys in 2011. After 33 matches across 2 seasons, he signed with Penrith for the 2013 season.

He played all 24 matches in his first season at the Panthers. Most of these were off the bench, with his high energy around the ruck providing spark to the Panthers attack and quickly became a crowd favourite with the Panthers faithful.

Midway through the 2014 season, Segeyaro assumed the starting role in the number 9 jumper and was a main factor in an injury ravaged Penrith outfit finishing one match short of a grand final appearance. His performances saw him awarded the Dally M Hooker of the Year award.

In 2015, he was not immune from yet another horror injury toll that beset the club, but still made 18 appearances, including one as captain against the Gold Coast Titans. Having pledged his allegiance to Australia, he was selected for the Prime Ministers XI for the annual end of season match against Papua New Guinea.

He led the Panthers in the pre-season Auckland Nines tournament in 2016 but would suffer a broken arm in the opening round. He returned nearly two months later but would play only three more matches off the bench before being dropped to the NSW Cup. Soon after, he would be successfully granted a mid-season release to the Leeds Rhinos in the English Super League.

He would only play the remainder of that season, returning to Australia at the start of 2017 citing home sickness and soon after signed with Cronulla. After two seasons he joined Brisbane for the 2019 season. After the completion of the season, he was provisionally suspended by the NRL after returning a positive drug sample. In June 2021, he was free to play again, and in 2022 signed with Manly, where he played his first NRL match in four seasons.
