Parramatta junior (from Seven Hills) who made his first grade debut for the Panthers against the Eels in 1992 at hooker. He would only play the solitary match that season, but would make 17 appearances in 1993, initially as a halfback and also in the second row before settling in as the starting hooker for the second half of the season.
It would be a position he would hold down for most of the 1994 season, but by 1995 he would be in a battle with team mate Brett Boyd as to who was deemed to be the number 1 rake in that time.
Farrar’s last match for the Panthers was the semi-final loss to Canberra in 1997. He would head to England, playing three seasons with the Warrington Wolves before retiring at the end of the 2000 season.
