St. Clair junior who had played both Under 20s and NSW Cup before making his NRL debut at fullback in 2013.

He was awarded the club’s rookie of the year award through his performances, and the next season, he became a “clutch” player, nailing a sideline conversion to win one match, and later in the season kicking the decisive field goals in two 1-point victories, as well as emerging as a skilful player at the back. Moylan made his representative debut for City that year, and was later named in the 2014 Australian Four Nations squad, although he did not play a match.

In 2015, he was selected for the NRL All Stars team in the annual pre-season All Stars match. Injury cut short that season, but his return in 2016 was coupled with the appointment as the club’s captain.

He achieved higher representative honours, playing all three matches for NSW in the State of Origin series, and later in the season finally made his Australian Test debut, becoming Penrith’s 19th Kangaroo.

Midway through the 2017 season, he made his long-awaited switch to five-eighth. However, injury saw him miss the last few matches of the season, including the finals series.

After much speculation he successfully sought an end of season release to go to Cronulla in 2018, where he has made 55 appearances across four seasons to the end of 2022.
